Lunch program treats hungry Montrealers as welcome guests

On the last Sunday of each month, as welfare money runs out, more than 250 people are served a generous hot lunch in Christ Church Cathedral’s Fulford Hall. There are other lunch programs for the needy in Montreal, but what makes this one special is the way the guests are treated. They are greeted with a handshake at the door, seated at tables family-style with volunteer “hosts”, served with china and glass, and drawn into conversation with table mates. Behind the Scenes With the Cathedral Campaign Team

Hello from your Campaign Team!

Although it’s been quiet over the summer, we haven’t stopped working toward our goal.

At our campaign launch at the end of May we announced that we had reached $1.42 million in donations from the private sector. Since then we have raised close to $300,000, bringing our total to $1.71 million in private donations!
